These terms summarize how GH Landscaping LLC ("we", "us") works with customers. If you signed a service agreement with us, that signed agreement controls; this page is a plain-language summary of it plus our privacy practices.
1. Season & services
The Full Season Plan runs from March 1 to mid-December: spring cleanup at any time during March (depending on weather and scheduling), weekly maintenance from April through the 2nd week of October, then fall leaf removal (at least 4–5 visits) through the 2nd week of December.
Only the services described in your estimate are included. Any additional work is quoted and billed separately, and may be approved by signed proposal, email, or text.
If our prices change because of inflation or cost of living, we will tell you by phone, text, email, or in person at least 30 days in advance.
2. Payments & card on file
Full Season Plan customers keep a valid card on file with our payment processor, Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
You are not charged when you save your card. Your first charge is on March 1, the start of the season, no matter which payment option you chose:
Automatic monthly billing: charged on the 1st of each month, March through December.
Three-payment plan: charged March 1, June 1, and September 1.
Annual prepayment: the full season amount is charged March 1.
About 3 days before each automatic charge we email you a reminder with the amount, date, and card. After each charge we email you a paid invoice as your receipt.
By signing your agreement you authorize us to charge your card on file for scheduled plan payments, approved additional work, past-due balances, and returned-check fees. Only your Full Season Plan is charged automatically; other work is invoiced separately.
You can update your card at any time from your account page (the link in any of our emails). For your security we email you a one-time code before a card can be changed. Your new card replaces the old one, and future payments go to the new card only.
3. Payment fees
Payments made with a credit card include a surcharge to cover card processing: 3%, or our actual processing cost if that is lower.
Payments made by check or Zelle add 3.325% tax.
Debit cards are never surcharged.
Cash payments have no extra fees. If you'd like to pay a plan payment in cash instead of the card on file, let us know before the charge date.
Paying by cash, check, Zelle or another method: you can choose this when you sign. Payments are due on the same dates as your plan. A card is still kept on file as a backup only: it is never charged automatically. If a payment is still unpaid 10 days after its due date, we email you a reminder. If it is still unpaid 30 days after its due date, we will manually charge that payment to the card on file (with the credit card surcharge, if it is a credit card). Plans paid by check or Zelle include 3.325% tax, added to the contract total.
Any surcharge or tax is shown as its own line on your invoice and receipt, before you pay.
4. Declined & late payments
If an automatic charge is declined, we email you right away with a link to update your card, and we try again automatically (up to 3 tries, 3 days apart). When you update your card, a past-due plan payment is charged to the new card right away.
If your card becomes invalid or is declined, please provide updated payment information within 5 business days; service may be suspended otherwise.
We do not charge late fees. If you pay by cash, check, Zelle or any method other than automatic card payments, a payment that is not received by its due date is marked unpaid. We email you a reminder once it is 10 days past due, and you have 30 days from the due date to pay before the card on file is charged for that payment as a backup.
Returned checks incur a $50 fee. You are responsible for reasonable collection costs and attorney fees as permitted by law.
5. Visits, access & weather
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel, skip, or reschedule a visit. If notice isn't given and the crew arrives, the full visit amount is billed. Locked gates, unsecured pets, parked vehicles, or other access problems do not waive payment if the crew arrives as scheduled.
Please provide reasonable access during visits and let us know about pets, gates, underground utilities, irrigation, or hidden hazards.
Schedules may shift because of weather, drought, equipment failure, holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control. Missed visits may be rescheduled at our discretion.
6. Cancellation, termination & renewal
Either party may end a service agreement with 30 days' written notice. All unpaid balances are due when the agreement ends.
We may suspend or end service immediately for non-payment, repeated declined charges, unsafe conditions, harassment of our employees, or if we can't access the property.
Season agreements renew automatically for the next season under the same terms (subject to price adjustments) unless you cancel in writing at least 30 days before the next season starts.
We are not responsible for damage caused by hidden obstacles, unmarked irrigation or utility lines, pre-existing property conditions, weather events, or drought, or for damage or loss to trees, plants, or grass caused by improper care on the customer's part.
8. Privacy policy
What we collect. Your name, phone number, email, and service address; details you give us about your property (notes, photos, estimates); your signed agreement; your service and payment history; and messages you send us. Card information is collected and stored by Stripe, not by us — we only see the card brand, last four digits, and whether it is credit or debit.
How we use it. To give you quotes, schedule and perform your service, bill you and send receipts and payment reminders, answer your questions, and ask for a review after service. We use your address and contact details only for your account.
Who we share it with. We do not sell or rent your information. We share only what is needed with the services that run our business: Stripe (payments), Google (email and secure record-keeping), and our website host. We may disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it. For as long as you are a customer and afterward as needed for tax, accounting, and legal records.
Your choices. You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information, or to stop non-essential emails, by contacting us. (We can't delete records we must keep by law, such as payment records.)
Security. Your account page is reached through a private link, and changing your card requires a one-time code emailed to you. Payments are processed by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS certified.
